DependaCare

What is DependaCare you may ask? DependaCare is the proprietary, premium, à la carte menu of As Close As Family that provides clients and their families to select only one service at a time. Services can be provided on an as needed or routine basis by our CarePros^SM. Additional services will be added in the near future. As part of our light homemaking services, we will assist with basic chores likes dusting, mopping and vacuuming, as well as bathroom and bedroom maintenance, kitchen cleaning, clutter organization, trash collection, laundry and washing dishes.

This is short-term, temporary relief provided to those who are caring for family members within their home. Our respite home care services provide temporary support whenever and however you need it. Perhaps you need to run a few errands, meet friends for lunch, take the afternoon to go shopping or just get away for awhile. Whatever the case, a CarePro^SM can step in and fill your shoes for however long you’ll be away.

Nutrition effects every aspect of our life. A well balanced diet is crucial to good health. We have been there when clients or their families have no choice but freezer meals. We have been there when a diabetic has nothing but high sugar items for a meal. We have been there when there isn’t enough time before work to fix mom or dad a meal of their liking. We have been there and we understand. Proper nutrition is invaluable. Let the ACAF CarePro^SM team be your personal chef.

We will match your loved one with the best caregiver for them, offering steady companion care so your loved one can stay active. We will help them take part in social visits, revisit old hobbies they used to love or even just take a walk around the block. Rest assured, all of our caregivers pass background checks when they become employed by us and we engage in frequent quality checks to ensure our caregivers are the best at what they do. Our CarePros^SM can also assist with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and respite care for caregivers.

Our sitters are non-medical caregivers who can watch over clients whenever and wherever they need them, from part-time to full-time to 24/7. Such care can be provided in a variety of settings, including the senior’s home, senior living housing, nursing homes, hospitals, rehab facilities and more. Elderly sitters are not physicians or nurses and cannot provide medical, physical therapy or any other related service. Their role is limited to providing basic companionship along with some light housekeeping if needed.

From grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions from the pharmacy to mailing a package, As Close As Family is here for you and your family by providing errand services. 

Under the umbrella of caregiver services,  our CarePro^SM  team offers a variety of assistance you can choose for your loved one, depending on their mobility level, health and other needs.
